SCAM CALL - caller pretending to be EE and offering to upgrade my SIM card from 4G to 5G. The caller also sent a text message, which DID appear to come from EE and which made me think the call was legitimate. This is a 'SPOOFING SCAM' where a scam text is made to appear to come from a legitimate source. The text message included a one-time pass code which I was asked to read back to the caller. This is all designed to give me confidence in the caller who then asked for personal details for security reasons which I refused to give. I have alerted EE to this scam.
