Local call. Knew my first name, said they were calling about 'the minor accident you had recently'. I haven't had an accident. I hung up.

Automated voice claiming a VISA payment for £900+ was being requested for online shopping. Press 1 if this wasn't my transaction.

automated voice from local call number claiming that my bank was about to be debited £120 and to press 1 to authorise payment. No mention of which bank. I hung up and did a reverse search lookup. This number as far as searches go, does not belong to a bank. Probably another dirt-bag scammer.

Female voice sounded far eastern, claiming to be from British Gas, put phone down when I said I did not have a contract.
