Caller sounded Asian/Chinese. Asked if my home was council owned, a private let or owned by myself. I asked why he wanted to know and he said that his business helped council tenants with problems. I told him I wasn't a council tenant so I didn't need his help but he continued to ask if my home was owned or rented. I told him again that I am not a council tenant and as he had said he only helped council tenants he didn't need any further information from me and ended the call.

Scam caller re- home Insulation. I answered after repeated calls from this number over the last couple of months. I was told about home insulation and politely said no thank-you, the caller (who called herself Linda) ignored that and started asking questions about my personal circumstances. When I said no thank-you again she put the phone down on me. I’ve now blocked this number.

Apparently, they're part of "the BT upgradation team" ('upgradation'. He even repeated it when queried). Some scam about the pressing need to replace my phone line with a shiny new fibre one and so could he have my details, now please, to put the order on the system.
