Allegedly BT OpenReach, calling about slow internet speeds. By pretending to be a dotty old lady and deliberately misunderstanding what the caller was saying, I strung him along for 40 minutes before he twigged. Gave me a lot of satisfaction - and that's 40 minutes when he can't be scamming someone else.

this number called saying £300 taken from card account paying Amazon, and 1000 money transfer made. Sounded a recorded message. I hung up telephone. Tried calling number , answer was phone number not recognised.
