answered the phone, there was a click on the line and line went dead.

I answered the call, and a woman asked if I was the name I use online. When I asked who was calling, she disconnected.

stated it was a call from visa about fraudulent transaction i dont use visa

Marked as Nuisance by my phone and it was a silent call.

called regarding maintenance on station road which is a registered address in england - we are glasgow - they said they are BT doing maintenance work and might effect us - even though the person he asked for was a director - when questioned he hung up , and you cannot dial the number it doesn't let you. so not BT

This is a scam - quite convincing but the person answering is absolutely clueless on banking procedure !
