Reading other online searches, this is a suspect EDF energy scam. We were a previous domestic EDF customer. Rung the 01792680163 number back (witheld ID), instant automatic message stating "Welcome to energy department, press 1 to speak to an adviser". When pressing 1 the same message is repeated and then when pressing 1 again it repeats and keeps repeating. If you do not press 1, after a while you get a message stating "that's great we will keep your place in the queue and call you back on..." then cuts off.

Nusiance call: 3 times this morning, so far. Reason: Save on energy costs and clear damp caused by old loft insulation. Sounds like a recording with gaps for your answers - Doesn't listen! 'My loft is boarded.'; 'I don't have any damp in my loft.' ; 'I'm happy with my current set up.'; 'I'm not interested.' etc.............. Put the phone down!!!!! Is linked to series of numbers from Manchester. Use a call blocker, if you have one.
