Scam caller pretending to be from Vodafone
Left the answerphone on. Purporting to be from an entity providing help with energy costs. Female American voice...
spam ... indian lady asking about my "recent car accident"....
Did not recognise this number, so did not answer. Number has called persistently for over a week now. Other web sites indicate this number is associated with scams!
Caller hung up when answered, hence, AUTO CALL, seeing if someone would pickup, then your number is short listed for a follow up call, this time by a real person, you answer's it, you will be in DANGER of being scammed by a real professional scammer, with fake convincing story of why you should do as they ask. Hence a loss of money from your bank account is most likely - WARNING - If anyone wants to talk to you, they will leave a message - make sure your answer machine is working and you will never miss a genuine call, any calls you don't no, never answer them or call them back, if you are unsure, ask family members to help - SCAMMERS they are looking for vulnerable people/victims - If you don't no who is calling you, you do not recognise the number, DONT ANSWER IT – If its a genuine caller, they will leave a message on your answer machine with their details, if you don't recognise their details, phone a friend or family member to seek help/advice.
Unsolicited call. Doesn't leave a voicemail. Nuisance. Blocked it.
Just rec'd call, I took the call but heard nothing on the other end then it just hang up. I have blocked the number now.
