Trying to check the authenticity of a bank transaction that may have been fraud. Yet another scam call.

Sating it was inland revenue

Claimed a large purchase had been attempted on my credit card

Scam call about car registration and parking ticket. (not possible in my situation)

Received a text stating 'What's the word? I want to examine the role description with you. Do you have a few minutes to chat now?'. Most likely a scam.

scam call, claim to be HMRC. Legal action threat or press 1 to talk to advisor. HMRC do not call with automated messages.
