Find out who is calling from phone number starting with 0772253

We had an automated message left on our residential phone answerphone claiming suspect payments. No mention was made of a bank name, so this very likely a scam. From experience I know that a bank's fraud team would ask you to ring them. I blocked the number. Vodafone network.

07700 182644 is unknown to me so I didn't answer the phone. The number is registered with a VIOP service called Telephone Assistance Network who scammers rent numbers from. My friend who did answer the number had it immediately hang up. That is the spam call centers auto-dialer phishing for live numbers to call back with a human operative later. Never answer an unknown number.
