A recorded message advising of expensive railway tickets purchased and if fraudulent to "press button 1 to go through our Visa refund department." I pressed button 1 and the line went dead. I guess all operatives were busy trying to effect a Visa refund and scam people. Best avoid this number.

The caller claimed to be from "the Visa and Mastercard Department" telling me a large debit is being charged to "your card" without saying which, and invited me to press 1 to decline it. The failure to tell me which card was involved was a dead give-away that it is a scam. I did nothing and the caller hung up after about 15 seconds.
