A recorded message asking to save the number on WhatsApp to discuss a job offer
Scammer pretending to be HMRC
scam, asked me to save number on Whatsapp
Called today, got screened by iOS 26, asked me to add them on WhatsApp. Textbook scammer Blocked and reported.
Called and then hung up after I said hello.
Phone rang, picked it up and answered it, no reply so kept on listening to thirty seconds of silence then hung up.
Didn't answer. No message left. Number blocked
Starts a recorded message half way through about you have come up for a job them abruptly ends the call.
Clear scam - it took ages to connect, then I had someone say "Hello?" "Hello?". Then when I said what, they hung up.
Rang twice in quick succession. Didn't leave a message. Found this suspicious
recorded message claiming to be from hmrc , said post had been sent back and they will be taking legal action
