Claiming to be from the fraud squad and that my debit card had been illegally used and then they wanted me to download an app to my phone but when I questioned which bank card they were referring to they told me that they couldn't tell me by law which is total rubbish so I put phone down.

Incoming SCAM call - an Indian-sounding fella purporting to be from O2 mobile phones wanting to put me on a better plan. I played along for a while and was even sent a one-time password by text to 'access the account.' Needless to say, he couldn't tell me how much I was currently paying, and it's just a huge ruse to get my bank details. Do not fall for the SCAM and just hang up - oh, and in the end he just hung up, Rude bugger! (Oh, and I'm not with O2, so there has been a data breach at some point in time, as I haven't been with O2 for about ten years!

There was a suspicious pause after I picked up (block dialling) then she asked for me by name and said that she was from "Medical Services". I immediately thought that she was probably trying to sell me expensive "herbal remedies", told her "no thank you" and hung up.
