Claimed to be from O2 to offer me a discount on my existing contract. Wanted my email email address first and they would confirm my details in return. Although I am with O2 I was wary and terminated the call. I then realised I had answered my wife's phone that was on Vodafone. Is it a scam or is O2 poaching customers?

this is a loft insulation company looking to inspect you house for correct loft insulation is fitted. they keep calling saying their information indicates the insulation is worn out, ineffective and out o date and requires replacement is not "brownish" in colour. have no idea where the information has come from as completed insulation myself. Just a scam to get a foot in the door.
